When you're out and about do strangers ever kiss or cuddle your baby? If yes, how do you respond? What's the furthest a stranger has gone? Kissing your baby's hands and feet? Putting toes in their mouth? Tickling your baby?

Yes, I experience this situation a lot when I bring my daughter (6 months old) go out shopping. At first, I felt uncomfortable when a stranger touch my baby or talk to make her laugh. But then I learnt that it is good to let your baby interact with a lot of people not only with her mom and dad. This is for her to learn to socialize. So now I can tolerate this situation better as long as it is appropriate.

Yes as long as its appropriate it is healthy. My mom tells me that as a child I would talk to everyone we met when out and about.

Yes, it happend with my own children when they were very young, say when we used to travel in public transport, people will touch them ...talk to them ....used to call them to make them laugh. My mother tells me when I was a kid - some lovely females used to comment - OH! what a sweet and cute baby he is! What are your experiences? :):)
