young children makes us proud of their achievments. When my daughter was 3 and went home with a perfect test score i was very happy and of course proud of her achievment even though we didnt get to review and study at all. She's a fast learner and gets concepts immediately so i dont have a academic problem with her.

that is a great thing! My daughter just started preschool this year. I had tried to work with her to learn her letters and numbers but she never seemed to retain it. I think when she feels attention on her she freezes up. Since she started preschool she has learned to recognize most of her numbers 1-10 and a good bit of her letters. She just turned 5, so I'm really proud of her also!

I think for most parents this is a big deal. CONGRATS TO YOU AND YOUR DAUGHTER This is a monster step for a 3 year old, and just wait till she figures out what those letters mean, the sounds that those letters make. I always make a big deal out of these kinds of things with my twins. They just turned 5 but academically they haven't hit that point. So on top of preschool, we do a lot of educational stuff at home

You are right, whatever our little once does we will be proud of them always. When my son was 3 year old and was going to pre-kg i never paid attention to what he learnt and and what not but when we thought of putting him to a good school. at the age of 3 and half he had to give an interview where the teacher asked him to write any one letter from A to H. and he could not write any thing. I felt so bad that day. later i made him to sit and learn the letters. now i am very much proud of my son he is alway top in class.

my daughter is also three years old im proud of her,she knows all the letter from the alphabet, she knows simple addition as well, she also memorize poem easily, she writes her own name not that perfect but she can do it very well, she also speak fluent enlish she knows her grammar well, she also fix her own things now accordingly and most of all she draw and dance perfectly..im proud of her now i see my work is being exchange on happy ways..i always tell her im always right by her side if she needed me on what she really wants to learn.
