I remember when I was much younger, and acts of generosity and well mannered came to most people as seconed nature. Now a days people make such a big deal out of it. Whenever someone dose something nice they act as if though the person has saved the world or something. For me that is a turn off, I don't take pride in my generosity. Pride is a sin, I jsut do it because I believe in being a good person and will only accept thanks from someone in that same manner. Not to be praised but only to recive generosity from someone as I have givien it to them or to someone they know.

I become very suspicious when someone is extra generous with me. I always think that someone is wanting something from me as a payback. I have had someone in my life who expected nothing, except my friendship. She was the most generous person in my life. To the end of time, I will always be grateful to this woman.

It doesn't bother me at all, and I always try to be generous first, because that is my personality! If they be generous back, that's good, if not, well that's alright also, because I understand, many people are just naturally apprehensive! I know that I at least made an effort, and that's enough for me!

Its with them opening up to their real inner selves... thereby being truly showing gratitude for the even the smalllest favours we do for them... They are the people who really stand by for the needy...
