How do you choose a politician?

i think the best thing is he/she deliver what he/she has promised us. It is no point if we vote for him and nothing done for us.

Well...in my view....a politician should be chosen looking at his background, qualification, experiences and mostly.......his social involvement for the betterment of society............ what you think??
