It's a type of pasta, long and thin. I wish I could post a photo.

My favorite dish is something my mom makes for us. We call it poor mans perogies, but i'm sure its also called other things. It is shell noodles, potatoes sliced, cooked onions and longhorn cheese. you cook the noodles, potatoes and onions still almost tender, then you put it all in a slow cooker and melt the cheese all over. It is really good.
