What is the purpose having a third eye?

All of us have a third eye and it's inevitable to have a third eye. We all have three bodies. The physical, astral and causal. And when we die, our soul leaves the body through the opening in the third eye. But, most of us are not aware of it, because we don't meditate or indulge in any spiritual techniques. But, I do meditate everyday and I have noticed the effects of concentrating on the chakra. The third eye in eastern mysticism is called the Ajna Chakra. There are 7 chakras running along the spine starting from the base of the spine. And these chakras regulate the metabolism of our body and also have a huge effect on our thought processes. But, if you want to connect to your spirit and realise God, you can't do without opening your third eye. It's important.
