Who is the one person you could always rely on?

My mom was that person. When she passed away 3 years ago, it left a void. Every now and then when something big happens, I still find myself wanting to go to the phone and dial her number. Now, I am the oldest living female of my family. Odd feeling being the matriac and not yet 50. So who do I rely upon now? Believe it or not, my mother's brother. He is not much for mothering, but he is my senior and I value his protective ability and his wisdom.

Steve - my boyfriend. I can always rely on my parents to not disown me, etc and I can rely on them to be supportive in terms of what they view as supportive. Unfortunately, it doesn't always support... but the intent is there, and I love them for it :)

I'd have to say the same answer as you, my middle sister. She is a very sweet and caring perosn with a heart of gold. I know I could count on her for anything!
