Lady rescues baby

What a blessing the baby was found alive, that dog had better get some extra special treats. There are so many sick crazy people in the world - there are so many loving people who would give anything for a baby but this 'jerk' would actually try to kill this baby. I hope he gets life in prison and the baby gets a safe loving home.

You did not supply a link. The only one was a baby left on a doorstep in a basket. And there was also one like that in another state. I do not understand why a father would do that to his own son. If you had supplied a link, we could have done some investigation found out if the father was drunk out of his skull, whether he and the mother wanted to get rid of the baby, whether he told the mother he was going to babysit and decided to get rid of the baby because he did not want the responsibility, etc. So although I think he is a no good scumbag, I cannot decide whether he is best punished by being beaten up, thrown from a moving car, or put in jail.

That is pretty horrible, you never know what people are thinking when they do things like that. I wonder where the mother was? It is amazing how God has given dogs the sense to know when something is not quite right. I am glad that the lady found the baby alive. Maybe, the baby was colicky or something. However, that is still no excuse for doing what he did. He could have took the baby to the hospital and left him there.

People do things like this because they are selfish - they don't want to take care of a baby, don't like a crying baby, don't want kids, just want to do their own thing - drink, hang with friends, etc. They don't want the responsibility of a child, and if they had one bit of sympathy, they would drop the baby off at a safe location - hospitals and fire departments will take the baby. But, they are selfish. I noticed in our area there have been several infant deaths when a young mom has left her baby home alone with her boyfriend. Women should be very careful about this. While moms have that instinct that they would protect their child with their lives (some moms), men don't necessary have the same instinct (some do - my husband does) especially with someone else's baby. So when the baby starts crying and the guy can't stop it, they kind of freak out. Just be careful who you leave your baby with...

How awful for the father to do that to the baby but it is wondferful that the owners dog did not give up and took their owner to see what he was barking about I could not imagine finding a baby laying out in a field! Why do people have babies if they don't want them?

OMG some people are retards grrrr I hate people like that. The only thing I could think of that would make someone do that is that they couldn't handle the situation and had nowhere to turn. It doesn't excuse what they have done but at least it may explain it. It doesn't seem like people know where they can go for help if they need it. So many police stations or hospitals will take babies without questions asked and it doesn't seem like people know that nowadays. I seriously think people need to be more educated on the subject so we don't see this crap happening. I could never imagine doing that to my kids......

oh no I hope you find out more about as to why the fater did this and what lead to the man that is the father. People as just getting worse and worse on this we have it set up here if ya dont wnat the baby drop it at the hospital. So they canfind a good hom e for it as soon as possible. Thats why I think abortion should be legal for the people that find out they are PG and dont want it have the abortion instead of droping it in a dumpster or in a feils like this man did.

I don't get why people do stuff like that either. Especially when they have that safe drop off thing where you can go drop a baby off at any fire station or hospital with no questions asked. I wonder if the babies mother knew the father was doing that or if he took the baby.

That is one good dog, to find that baby. I hope the baby will be alright, and have a chance to grow up in a loving family environment. I can't imagine why any parent would abandon a child like that. Every time I hear news like this, I think our world is getting sicker all the time.

Oh my...it is a good thing that the baby was rescued just in time...the lady is a real hero for coming to the rescue... the father should be punished for being so irresponsible... bringing the baby that the hour... maybe there is a reason behind that accident... If people do not want children... why don't they just have them adopted...or just don't make babies at all...

Hi thoroughrob! That is horrible! I am just more than happy that the lady was able to rescue that baby. God bless her! I could not really understand people who abandons and abuse helpless babies and children. Oh yes, there would always be reasons behind each action but nothing can ever justify such actions of abuse and neglect to children. Like you, I am wondering what is wrong with these people. I wonder what happenned to the mother? Where is she? She felt the pain and carried this child for 9 months but the child is with the father? Look what he has done is evilous too but I cant help but wonder where that mother is?

man i canst stand hearing how parents can hurt their children like that. I am a parent that loves my kids and i had to bury one of them 3 years ago. It breaks my heart to h ear how parents can willing hurt their kids when others like me lost theirs from no falult of our own. I hope the baby is ok and can get a loveing family or back to the mom if she ok and good.
