Take this test and tell me how you do!

I have observed as a dog owner, helping strays find their families, and working with shelter dogs that many times people do not really know what a pitbull looks like. In news reports, there have been stories where people have reported that a pitbull did something, and later is retracted on page 36 in another day's paper that the dog really wasn't a pitbull but was something else or a mutt.
I didn't get the test right on the first try - the second dog I chose was the pitbull in the quiz. Good luck :)

Most people can't tell the difference. Unfortunately, we have a BSL ban here in Ontario, where your dog doesn't even have to be a pit.
Under the amendments to DOLA, pit bull is defined as:
A pit bull terrier
A Staffordshire bull terrier
An American Staffordshire terrier
An American pit bull terrier
A dog that has an appearance and physical characteristics substantially similar to any of those dogs.
So, if your dog even looks like those dogs.....it's ridiculous.

It is VERY sad. And don't forget to add Boxers and boxer mixes to the list of dogs they want people to get rid of because some people think they are pitbulls. Some of the larger, more full sized Boston Terriers believe it or not too. A

I am sorry that that happened. I got bit by a mutt as a kid. The neighbor hit his dog and I was just the next person the dog saw. I still like dogs.
Did you take the quiz? Were you able to pick out the pitbull?
if anyone takes the quiz, don't spoil it by telling people which one it is...let them try :)

Oh, by the way, I could not find the pitbull, but I will say, that I have in the past, mistaken a lot of those dogs for pitbulls.

Score I got it on my first try!! I work at a grooming shop and have a workmate with several championed APBTs.

I can't believe this quiz. It says the breeds on that page are often confused for Pitbulls...I'm sorry...there is NO WAY ANYONE confuses a Jack Russel Terrier with a Pitbull.
Some other dogs that only stupid people could think was a pitbull are the labs and vizsla. hehe.
But I am happy to say, that I was right! I picked the pitbull out correctly! There were a few I thought could be the pit, but I looked at the way they stood to determine the correct answer. =D

Well that's what my sister said, you can't tell their size from the pictures. But I'm not talking about people taking the quiz. Abouve the quiz it said all those breeds are often mistaken for pitbulls when they attack people! lol.

I don't think its that people would think a JRT is a pitbull, but some people assume any dog with that coloring may assume it is a pit, and you can't tell how big the dogs are from the photo as there is not much in the photo to give you a size comparison.
Thanks for trying the test :)

I do not ever want a pitbull, and I have my reasons, some of my friends and cousins do own them, but I could never have them. If I ever get a puppy (Captain Moe will be the puppy's name, I promised my brother I would get one), I want it to be a mix, but want it to be a small dog, nothing big. It would be nice if it were a cocker spaniel, pomerainian, and small french poodle mix. That might end up being one very adorable puppy.
