Have you ever thanked your parents?

yes i have thanked my mum is in nursing home and when i see her i thank her that i am living in her house i am thankful everyday

Me too..I'm not that expressive when it comes to showing how thankful I am to my parents..But I guess there are lot of ways to say and express your thank you's for them, for me I do not say it directly to them because I don't wanna feel appreciated for that, instead I do let them feel how important they are in my life through actions. I don't do things that's against there will, yet do things that they wanted it to be. Being there when they need you to and find time to be there for them.

I have many times. I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wasnt for the way I was brought up. Now, I sure as heck didnt come from the brady bunch kinda family. It was not a good situation when I was young and then my parents split. But then I look at all of the good things that are in my life now and I cant help but thank them even for that horrible time, because without it I would not have ended up where I am now raising my own family with love and compasion.

It should be rightful to give thanks to our parents. and I agree with you that they are the very reason for our existence. I give thanks to my parents too. In words and in actions we should show them our gratitude. you should try to develop telling them that you love them. I have given them thanks from time to time. even though some parents are not that good, they still deserved to be given thanks.

I have thanked my parents in my own little ways. For me, by simply giving them respect they deserve is a way of thanking them. My other way of thanking them is by abiding the rules they have established for us to walk in the right path of life. I do kiss and hug them and tell them I miss them. And most of all, I appreciate them for raising our family well and telling them that they are the best parents in the world. They may not be perfect but I know that they are doing their best for our family.

Yes ,I have thanked my parents from the bottom of my heart.I love them!I must thank them for giving my life,for giving their support and love to me,for all of the things they give me.But I never tell them I love them.I just show my love in some way ,for instance,calling them often!
