Do you think mylotting has helped you improve typing speed?

My Lot does improve your typing speed alng with knowledge.It sometimes gets boring reading long articles elswhere.but mylot gives it to you in bits and parts from different people.It also lets your creative juices flow.I wish mylot could pay more than a cent per post

hi subha12,I agree with you that mylot has improved my typing speed. Infact mylot has not only increased my typing speed it has also helped me alot to improve my expressions and language. Because of my lot my communication power and confidence is also improved.

yeah.. mylot helps me improved my typing speed... and actually its not just the typing speed that improves me... it helps me improves my english... as i can see now im better than before...

Oh yes, even though I have able to typing speed before in mylot. But in mylot, make me love it even more. I can typing speed, and i can respond in soo many discussions. Plus making friends from all over the world. Then learning english also one of benefits being in mylot. And not forgetting earning money of course.:)

That is true indeed. I used to have to look at my keyboard very often when typing a word, but ever since I joined mylot, I have made a lot of progress without having to look at the keyboard so often though sometimes I have to.

no, but correctness increased a lot, i an trying to improve my typing speed also currently it is 35 words per minute. i know its very very low. ;(

It has improved both my typing speed and communication skill.After joining mylot i improved my english a lot and i came to know about different new phrases and words.

I think that mylot has improved my typing speed from what it use to be. I type a lot faster then what I use to since I have been a member of mylot.

Yes, very true! Posting on mylot has really helped me in improving my typing speed. It help me make continous practice of typing. And for posting my replies in large numbers in a lesser time, I try typing at a fast speed. A pertinent Post!

that is an interesting question. For me this is not the case because I worked as a typist many years and already type very fast. But I am interested is seeing how many people agree with you, because it certainly seems likely that what you have experienced is not at all rare.

For me it hasn't. That's because I have been typing on the keyboard for ages and my typing speed has been pretty fast (by the way, I type with 10 fingers) all along so I guess there is no quantum leap in the speed that I type after I started in myLot. But one thing I have improved on is that by participating in a forum like this, I have broadened my knowledge on various subjects through interacting with people from different races, cultures and parts of the world.

Actually I am still very new to this place so my speed has not increased that much, but I can say that my typing speed did increase because of chatting, and I am sure mylot will help it increase further because I have seen my shortcuts vanishing.

I think I was typing pretty fast before, but also I improved here a little bit too.

well friend.improving my typing speed is one of the important resons i log in this website and communicate with people.i do get a great enhancement now in the speed of typing.not only in speed,i can even blind typing now,by which i mean hiting out the correct letters while gazing at monitor instead of the keyboard.

hi subha. I think mylot could help me to type a little bit faster. But the difference is not so big:). Mylot is better for me to increase my English abilities. I can write in English more fluently. I think typing here at mylot helps as much as every typing to improve typing speed. The more you type, the faster you do it. have a nice day. jazgottt

Of Course it has helped me improve.I had an initial typing speed of 184 cpm at 4.6% errors,but now I have a speed of 198 cpm at 3.3% of errors.
