If you had head lice, would you hire someone to pick your nits?

To be totally honest, I am a nit picker. I pick through people's hair all day, every day. Since I work for the only non profit treatment organization in the country I see hundreds of cases each week. I know that there are people out there that think the work I do is wonderful and that there are others that believe my job to be outsourcing parenting. I would love to know your honest opinion or to just hear your stories involving your battle with head lice.
