Yes, there are many websites that explain the anatomy behind it but if you ever need personal experiences I as well as probably many others would be more than happy. Everyone has it in a different way some people have lots of pain, some infertility some both. Good luck on finding info.

endometriosis is presence of endometrial tissues outside the uterus such as the ovaries,peritoneum, labia majora,lungs,etc.Causes can be due to coelomic metaplasia,retrograde menstrual flow, immunologic causes, etc.
