The original score I was given as a child was close to 200. Later, I scored lower, though I don't think anyone told me the exact number on that one.
I don't think I'm that smart. In fact, IQ tests bug me, because when I was younger my brother and I were treated differently because of our IQ scores.
I was originally tested because they thought there was something wrong with me, which is funny. I read before I talked, though, and I didn't talk because of trauma from abuse I was suffering. So the fact that my IQ test came out very high was surprising to my family, who had expected it to be very low. =p
I wonder what my score would be now. Probably not very high. There are so many things I used to know that I don't know now. Partially because of post-traumatic stress disorder actually, I have a high amount of memory loss. So, who knows, maybe I would be average now!!!?

I have PTSD also it is nothing nice. But the reason I asked the question was because of the test I took today, a friend and I both took it. it was one of those times ones for some reason those stress me out and I'm more likely to just mark an answer rather than figure out the correct one.

*nods* Yeah, I could see how that would make a difference.
I just have a lot of luck with tests somehow I think. Even if I'm not sure of the answers, I seem to come out well on them. I made all my classmates very angry at school over things like the SAT and the ACT, because they studied and did practice tests and took "prep courses" and I just went in and took the test without even thinking about it, and did better than them. I didn't want to tell anyone actually, but they kept pestering me about my scores until it came out.
Actually, I don't usually talk about my IQ score either, because like I said, I don't think of myself as being that intelligent. I know I'm smart, but the tests say I'm some kind of genius, and I'm just not buying it. =P

yeah I'm considered borderline genius myself. Have you ever taken the Mensa test? if so how did you do?
