superstitions this word is not unfamiliar with anyone , everyone at some point of his life has either believed in that or done something related to this.
what is this word, should we believe in this , does this really happen , like black cat crossing the road, spilling of milk , breaking of glass , are these signs of something bad , or these are just superstitions.
Do you have the habit of doing something in superstition, what is that habit , how much do you believe in this word superstition.

I think it's unreal because it has no logical relation or proof. It is just a ploy to increase self-belief in human being make them believe that every thing will be fine.As far i am concern i don't believe in superstition. In fact Vivekananda said that superstition is a sign of weak mind. Now what do you say?

One person's superstition is another person's religion, in my experience. So I try not to bash any kind of superstition, though there are many popular ones that I don't really believe in myself.
Actually, on one of these superstitions, I have an opposite reaction. I'm very fond of black cats, but often when something bad happens to me, there is a white cat around. So those are the ones I see as bad omens. =P
I have my own omens based on a lot of things I guess. For example, the primary Goddess I follow is associated with crows and ravens, so often I will take seeing those (especially in threes) as good signs as well.
