Number One Thing?

The main thing I get from mylot is caring support from complete strangers that I may never meet. Seems ppl here are more supportive than my own family. When I had to put my cat, Lightning, down after fearing he went off to die somewhere..I received zilch, zero, nada support from my family/friends but started a discussion here in mylot about it and I got tons of support and prayers from my fellow mylotters which I desperately needed at the time. Still miss him but the ache eases as time moves forward. Makes it all worthwhile to come back here and miss it when I can't. :-)

Friendship!!!! Knowledge!!!!!!! Understanding!!!!!!! Sympathy!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!! Laughter!!!!!!!!! Exceptance!!!!!! Fun!!!!!!!!! Respect!!!!!! I could continue, but I think you get the idea. Friendship is #1 though. Actually the rest comes with friendship.

i used to write just to express things out from my mind. everytime i wanna say something but i just can't because i don't have a close friend or if my sister is away (whom im confiding to only) i just grab a pen and a paper and just write things i wanna say. that's why when i founf mylot, i thought it's a good site for me. express things i thought. and express what i thought of others' questions. it's really a good thing being in here. i like it, that's why im still here.. :)

well for me i learned a lot here, that is some tips from fellow member and some information on things which is helpful i guess and of course to those friends who endlessly responded my discussions although not all of them though but its ok..i understand..

Dude! This is off the subject kind of, but how many posts do you post in a day? I am asking because I was searching "today's hot topics" and your photo came up at least four times on the first page! :)

The one thing that make me want to stick to mylot is the feeling of being surrounded by caring, wonderful and good friends. Its like when we have a problem or a question we needed some answers, we can just "talk" to our mylotters' friends. Its like we always have someone to talk to.

I think the number one thing would be the friendships and the differnt views people have from all around the world

Had to wipe off my glasses, thought you said "small earrings". LOL. I enjoy the support and encouragement I get from my friends.

My number one "high" from My Lot is the friendship. I love sharing ideas, telling news, etc. Some people here do care, that much is obvious. There is no way I could be doing this for the money, as it is likely I could earn more from other sources on the internet. My Lot is almost addictive, because the I don't want to loose the friendships I have here. I like hearing the news of other people's families, sharing their ups & downs. & sometimes hearing pof new events. I especially find it interesting reading abpout countriews that aere less well known to us. To have direct communication with someone in China, for instance, would have been unknown ten years ago.

This is kinda funny, I was just thinking about this the day before yesterday. When I was making good money here I was also spending an awful lot of time here. Since being so busy the last few months I was thinking why should I spend so much time at something that earns me so little for my time... Just like you my answer was & is that I've made some great friends here and even when I'm not here I know they care for me.

the number one thing that i get out of being here, is the new friends. i get to meet and have interesting conversation with some very interesting people from alote of different cultures, and for me it is a very good reason to stay here. :)

My number one thing is seeing what people all over the world have to say in the various discussions. I love getting to know people from everywhere and what they think. Along with that, I would also have to rate the friendships I have made here as very important, too.

The number one thing that i get is,having friends.I have nno friends where i live because i speak another language than them(im emglish,they are french)though i learnt how to speak this language here,but alot do not echknowledge that i exist and that.Im a very quite homebody who is a stay at home mommy.So this is why i joined here,to make friends and talk and sometimes be pulled towards certain people who i have a cnnection with and really like.Im myself here and no one judges me for who i am and the language i speak.I love my friends!:):)

I am new to this forum but I love it. I am yet to earn something out of this however, what I like about this forum that I can discuss many things with the members freely. Sometimes you have ideas but you are unable to share them with someone. Ofcourse, there may be many reasons for this not sharing these ideas. But here you are free to express anything fair and others there to give their views. What more can you expect...?

The absolute pleasure of interacting with my friends.It is alwys makes your heart light spending some fun time here.

Hi Grandpa Bob, I would have to say the number one thing that I love about MyLot is the friendships I have made. I have friends all over the world, and it is so great to get advice, suggestions, opinions, etc. A lot of the friendships I have made here are priceless and I thank my lucky stars for the beautiful people I have met. I would have to say I agree Grandpa besides the money which isn't much I like the people here for they are caring and most are respectful. Also to point out too that friends last much longer than money ever will. Not only that but the ideas that some of us come up with are very interesting and is another reason I come here and have stayed.

hi grandpa bob, the number one thing that keeps me going here is learning a lot about other people, getting more ideas and listening to other peoples views and opinions. Next is gaining new friends and being able to share them my thoughts and ideas also. Take care and God bless!

Like I mentioned in some of my responses to other topics, I wanna stay on this site because I learn and earn. Learning is enoguh reason already. And earning is just a bonus. Lessons are coming from the opinions of each and everyone. Earning is from postings. Even how small or big the earning here, it doesn't matter. As long as i enjoy the exchanges of ideas here. Besides, my earnings here is not my bread & butter. It is just an extra.
