Are Muslims the terrorists?

My friend who is not Muslim, but is a South African Indian recently decided to relocate to London. He said it was the worst experience of his life. Wherever he went people harassed and verbally abused him. It is so unfair that people have started to generalise this way, not all Indians are Muslims and not all Muslims are terrorists.

Definitely not all, some are good and some are bad. But there is a problem with there belief or idealogy. Even muslims are fighting with each other. Take for example the Shiite and Sunni in Iraq, they are even the source of trouble because of different idealogy.

Anyone can be a terrorist muslim or non muslim.

I do not have any knowledge of the Muslim religeon neither do I have any knowledge about any other religeon than my own. The Muslim religeon does not feature more or less important in my life than any other religeon for that matter. In other words I don't regard it as a first or even a second alternative. I haven't got any experience of the Muslim religeon and have never considered having a look at it as I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ of whom I have a lot of testomy and who has never failed to fulfill one of the beautifull promisses he has made. Not having any knowledge of the Muslim faith does not allow me to be critical about the religeon or of Muslims in general as I do not know what the Muslim religeon allows them to do. What I am critical about is the behaviour of certain people who in most cases seems to be devoted followers of the Muslim religeon. It is extremely difficult to understand that, and now I am referring to members of the Muslim religeon, can: Tie a bomb round the waste of another person and send that posibly innocent person to a restaurant just to kill other innocent people, there may even be Muslims in that Restaurant, while the coward terrorist are hiding safe and sound. Deliver an unknown number of rockets on Israel towns with the intention of killing people and when one Muslim is killed in counter attacks, they cry foul. Force a passenger plane posibly with Muslims on board, to fly into a giant size building with the intention to kill, even Muslims if there were any, or were the Muslims warned before hand? Plan to blow up more planes and trains with people in it, some of whom may never even have met, spoken or written to a Muslim. Ask themselves, but why are the Muslims being killed in Lebanon, Afghanistan, Palestine Iraq and also in the old Sovjet bloc of countries? Is it not time to ask themselves but why always Muslims? Expect to be allowed to kill other people at random just because they have problems other people dont seem to understand. Other Muslims who live in the same houses as the so called Terrorist keep quiet and be happy to see Muslims causing trouble and killing other people, even other Muslims. If the Muslim religeon do not allow them to speak up and to speak out then certainly they must reconsider their religeon or expect to receive what is and will by increasing measures be coming their way. As I am busy writing this email it just came over the news that Israel has retaliated to more attcks even after the socalled peace treaty. What message does the Muslims send into the World when they allow their fellow worshippers to acumulate hundreds of rockets and heavy amunition in Libanon knowing it to be launced on somebody who can only be, Israel. This may be an ideal time for all peace loving Muslims to come forward and denounce this Terrorists in no uncertain terms, evict them from their hiding places and turn them over to International Law and Order. Perhaps that will bring an end to a lot of their trouble. Let us Pray to Jesus our Saviour.

I'm getting tired of hearing about how peaceful Islam is. In this word, you are judged by your actions--September 11th was an Islamic action--so spare me the BS! I think the USA should pull every American soldier out of Iraq so they can have their three-way civil war! Yes, Islam is peaceful. The Sunnis ans Shittites are always showing love for each other.

That's like asking are all black people criminals, are all white people white-collar criminals, are all asians bad drivers, etc ..... Muslims are just like any other person. There are good and bad and you can't hold the sins of a few against all of them.

Reading all of these threads, I thought I might out to point out something that all of the Muslim minded writers should be practicing...this comes from their own holy book: "There is no compulsion in religion" Al-Qur'an: Al-Baqarah (2:256). Interpretation.....stop trying to convince others to follow the Allah....if he is really who you believe he is others will come to him without influence by you. :-) Jerm

jihaad does not mean killing anyone... infact it is the fight against the Islam enemies... it is the fight against the evil in a person...!! y do u go on the American books or any of the websites, just read the book of some prestigious scholar. & what will u say the fight going on in Afghanistan, Palestine & Lebanon... is it just! no, not at all! If Usama Bin Laden got the WTC crashed, then is it justice to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people just because of a single terrorist? answer is NO!!

r u trying to tell that they have problems? in that case who does not have problems. Nobody is forcing anybody to do anything. there is so much to discuss in this topic...... u can solve the problem only if the person having a problem is ready to discuss.

My belief is that the root of the problem is the Palestinian State. Resolve that issue and I think Arab (Muslim and Christian) anger at the West will dissipate. T

All muslims are not terrorists, all terrorists are not muslims.But most of the terrorists in india and some other places are muslims. I don't know why people became terrorists. They are good before they join in a group, they became cruel, they forgets the value of life after if he is a terrorist. We must change their ambitions and make them understand the sin .

My own opinion about the whole matter is this. The terrorists are just hiding under religion to pepertrate their evil. I dont think the prophet Mohammed will tolerate such acts of terrorism if he were alive. I have talked with good muslims who condemned the act. The terrorist are just trying to make names for themselves as well as power. Their main aim is to get to a point where theydictate for the government and control the wealth of the nation. I will rather like real muslims to come out and give their standing on the case of terrorism. This is my own idea. If they dont, then other people will see their religion as thatof violence and which is not so. I am not a muslim anyway but I think I studied a little of thier religion.

Terrorists are confined to only one religion. They are widespread. What is important is whoever is involved in terrorist activities should be put behind bars and tried in the special courts. There should not be any bail.
