Hello, as a new and inspiring emerging artist I try and find sites really worth putting your art into and being appreciated for, but I find many are truly expensive for their membership subscriptions.
I am really hoping deviantArt.com is different. I have just joined there but done nothing yet because I want feedback, positive and negative, on the resources available. If they are a reputable site with deliverance on promises of timely payment, full payment as assigned, surplus marketing in their metatag search engine optimization (will I be noticed just by searching Google for art hosting, buying and sharing sites), then I am asking these simple and technical questions to other users of deviantArt.com
Would you come forward please and share with me your yey or ney of this cool site I stumbled onto . . .
sharing the light,

My youngest Brother introduced me to DeviantArt.com a couple weeks ago and at first I liked the site. Then one morning I opened the site to see what was new and there was a giant photo of a pe*is looking at me. I was stunned. I'm not a prude but I could have easily had my Niece or Nephew here and had that "pop" up. I won't go back to that site anymore b/c 1) I don't like to look at pics of stuff like that and 2) I think they need some kind of warning system before throwing something like that up.
