I have been scamed by some sites because I paid to them for getting me some work which would earn me some money on internet. However, I made a blunder by paying them for the same. There are different ways through which you get scamed. On one site I was told that they will offer me many opportunities as a member of their site to work as a freelancer. They offered me just three days only 3$ package. I thought that it was fair enough. So I paid to them. In fact they offered me only advertisements to which I had to apply through their site only. Now I would get the response through their site only. Any during these three days I made as many as 15 applications. But their closing date was only after more than 30 days. So to know if they had selected me or not I had to pay to this site for another 30 days. This was because I would be contacted if selected only through this site only and I do not pay for another 30 days, then I would not know even if I was selected. Now after another 30 days I did not get response from any of the sites...! Who knows any of the advt. was legit or not? The purpose of sending this information and starting this discussion to warn the members about this type of scams. They play around the words and they very smartly get the money out of you. Please share your views on this, especially if you have been scamed, please let others know in detail how you were scamed?

Hello deserve19. Welcome to myLot. From what you have mentioned above, it was really a scam. A legitimate company that offers a job for some people would not actually ask their applicants to pay for their job. It was their own tactics to deceive the people of paying for the job. If we are going to examine this very carefully, definitely they are the one who needs the money. They want to obtain something from the applicants and that is the money of some innocent people who are trying to look for a decent, authorized, and legitimate work. Otherwise, they are making income out of it. We have to be very careful by these illegal online companies who tried to mislead and cheat the innocent people. Never ever try to invest or pay for the job, regardless if they really have a good and nice reputation. As what the other myLot members have told that before joining, we have to search and find enough information that would provide assurance for your safety before engaging to any transactions, work, etc. Fortunately, I was not scammed yet. I just hope this will not happen again to anyone else. Have a nice day and God speed!

Yes, there are a lot of scams out there and you should definitly be very careful. Don't send money to every site that claims they can earn you more money. I've never been scammed, but that's only because I examine every site I send money to or sign up to, to avoid this situtation. And with this post, I'm going to get 100 (number there is next to your name which indicates how many responses or comments you've done so far), and this way I'll be able to see my rating! I've been waiting so long for this! Hehehehehe... I hope I have a good rating. Good luck to you, and I hope you don't get scammed again!

I never invest money. I only go for offers where I get paid without spending any money because in case its a scam I won't lose any money.
