I reckon everyone has had an embaressing moment at some time or another. I suppose one of my worst one's was when I was in France working as a nanny. I had gone to a dance and not being able to speak a word of french, found it to be quite boring. I was then asked to dance in a sort of sign language way and I abliged. When I was on the dance floor this fellow pinch me on the rear, so I pushed the person away I was dancing with and stubbled backwards towards my chair shouting some sort of abuse, but as I tried to sit down I found my chair had been moved and fell flat on my back, legs up in the air showing all and sundry. I felt pretty embarressed to say the least. LOL. But it's funny when I think about it now. I was all of 18.

Probably my most embarrassing moment happened many years ago. A couple of people I worked with decided to get married. It was a second marriage for both of them, so their marriage and reception was held in their future home. Several of us offered to make food and deliver it to the house early in the day before the festivities began. Their home was located in one of those subdivisions that curved around and around, so when I pulled up the driveway to their home on Bluebonnet, I was glad to have found it. Anyway, I carried the two large trays of food up the driveway and entered the garage. Our instructions were to just "go right in" when we brought the food. All of a sudden, I was standing in the kitchen of a total stranger, saying "here's the food"! The people were so kind and understanding and said they would be glad to eat my food if I wanted to leave it. I was so embarrassed. You see the street had actually curved into another street. I was at the wrong address!

Well, on a seminar that I went in 2001 I had to make a speech and no matter how well prepaired I went at the moment that I went and took the microphone in my hand - all was gone - a deep black hole, and I couldn't come up with any of the things that I had to talk about. The problem was that my papers with notes disappeared also and I had not one chance to succeed. Deeply embarassed I excused myself and asked if I could do my speech at a later time as I have an emergency to deal with at the moment - and if I could do my speech on the same day or on the next one. Sure, it was ok, and nothing to worry, so I was able to save my "face" as no one knew what was going inside of me. The lost p[apers were notfound but in te room I was able to make new once and the next day all went fine. I felt so relieved really TheFortunes

This is a thread that everyone should be able to reply to because everyone has done at least one thing embarrassing in their life. I have had many lol but one that stands out is a few years ago we were at a club and this guy kept pestering me about something. I was trying to ignore him but he wouldn't leave me alone. So he's standing right behind me almost rubbing against me and I start screaming at him. Then he leans in real close to my face and says, "You dress is stuck in your undies". I was wondering why I felt a draft lol. It was a short dress to start with so I felt like a complete moron. I bought him a couple drinks and we had a good laugh about it.

I was in the airport in Brussels to check-in my luggage when the stewardess told me that I had excess baggage. I bought about 10kgs of belgian chocolates and had new books to take home with me... I didn't want to leave anything but I didn't have any choice. I went to a corner and removed some of my stuff like sleepers and jackets. When I went back to the check-in counter, they told me that I was late and I cannot get on the plane. I was my first time in Belgium and I only went there to attend a training so I didn't have any relatives to whom I can ask for help. I had no choice but to swap my plane ticket for a train to Amsterdam. I had to carry 1 big luggage, 1 small luggage, 1 backpack and a shoulder bag. At the train station, I had to huggle my stuff. I didn't care what I looked like when I was pulling my stuff up and down the train station platforms because the escalators were not working. a kind lady helped me with my stuff and told me not to leave it anywhere because it might get lost. I reached the airport at Amsterdam--- I spent the night at the lounge outside the departure area. The next day I went straight to KLM to rebook my flight then I checked-in my stuff. To cut my story short--- I was able to get home safe and sound... with all my chocolates :-)

You have a very funny story. I have one; I was 9 that day where I don't know anything about stealing. I followed my friends whose much older than me. they're older than 14 yrs old. I followed them to an area where our neighbour plants their fruits. We steal the fruits that day and suddenly all my friends climb up the fruit tree except me. I was waiting under the tree to pick the fruit that they droped. Suddenly all my friends, jump down from the tree and run away. I don't why but I keep collecting the dropped fruits. Then I walk as usual to come back home. Then one old man staring at me. Me, with all the fruits at my hand while eating one looking at the man with no fear at all. With smile and nothing to fear, I leave the man alone and walk towards home. After I reach home, all my friends there. They ask me what the old man says. I say nothing. They looks like strange because the old man doesn't do anything to me. I think there is something wrong but I don't care. Nothings bad hapenning to me. After 3 years, then I only realized that what we have done that day was totally wrong. I am lucky. If that day I have bad luck, the man catch will catch me and send to my parents. My father will not stop hiting my butt with cane!
