At Halloween whe you went Trick or Treating what kind of candy was the one you always looked for and wanted and wished the people would put into your bag? So many kinds of candies but there would always be a favorite you d look for after the night had come to and end and you were going through all of your Halloweeen goodies, looking for that sweet special candy you love more then all the rest, the special candy that youd be willing to trade two or three of the other kind for that special certain one.. What candy or what sweet thing was it?? If you cannot remember its name then just tell us more or less what it looked like and Im sure we can guess the name of the candy...

I don't remember the candy I got for Halloween as a kid. I couldn't tell you what they were giving out as I don't think they had the bite sized chocolate bars back then. I do know that my mother got my caramels and my Dad got the Chiclets gum - those tiny little two-packs. Now when I go through my kids' candy I go for the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Oh Henry!, Snickers, and of course the caramels. I now know why my Mom fancied them so much. LOL!

Yes, I have to have them in the house at all times. I have a few pretty much every day. This started when the girls got some in THEIR halloween bags a couple of years ago. Now I'm addicted!

I like quite a few candies. But I always hope for gummy worms, since above all other sweets I rarely ever see those. We never trade more than one candy for another single piece...unless we have alot of something we don't like. I never got to trick-or-treat alot as a kid. Maybe..three..four times in all.

to bad about you not getting to go and Trick or treat but a few times I went all the time even when I got bigger I would find an excuse to takke one of the neighbors kids treak or treating so I could also get more candies I would take them all the way up to the door and also stick out my bag Smile I just could not help it I love to go through all the different kinds of candies and check thewm ot and taste the ones I have never eaten before Id take a bite out of one and if I liked it Id eat it and if I didnt I would spit it out in the trash basket. Id enjoy sorting them all out and of course I love to trade off the candies I did not like Smile... Thanks for you response and do come back and respond to my other discussions. I gave you of course a big +

A neighbor of ours used to make home made fudge for Halloween and I loved it! We always went to her house as it was our favorite. Of course, these days I wouldn't let my kids eat anything homemade like that unless I knew the person well. This lady was probably 80 years old and I bet she made 50 pounds of fudge every year as all the kids went there.

i was happy with anything i got, i never really got my hopes up as most peoples houses you knocked on you got nothing, but my kids went out yesterday and they got quite a bit and not the horrible sweets that people give because they dont like it, it was like certain people had gone out and made the effort for trick or treaters :)

I used to like getting pencils and change actually...I know that's weird but every year we always got a lot of candy, plus a lot of pennies and other change and pencils or erasers. I liked that.
