We find many advts. about the data entry work online or offline. They promise big things. They also play around the words and fool you. Many of must have been scamed by such ads. Most importantly, the free ads. sites play very important role in this. Since they do not charge anything the scams are easy and people earn money in unethecial way. Has anyone earned through this type of DATA ENTRY work? Or even Typing work? (Ofcourse without making payments to get the work...! because such things look to be scamy). Some of my friends are very eager to go for this DATA ENTRY work as they are very good at that. Can you guide?

I have done that before. I am send emails and posting in forums. But you know what, I have been terminated in many forums sites and many peoples hates me for send such emails. At the end, I know what scaming is. I never thought that I was scamming people. From that I learned many things. Such job is useless!

i spent a lot of money with this so called work as a data entry officer from home. sadly all of them are scams . either they would ask u to buy an e book and resell to others or just plain marketing gimmick. i have taken on some survey companies and some ask money to register . i dont know what would anyone spend money to join a survey site . we only want to make money not spend more .

you just said what was on my mind :) . yes i too got tired of the phrase, 'sorry this is not available in your area' and redirects you to some other junk site.. so far from my experience is to have a good network of friends.100 or more referrals will make us quite happy :) but its not easy. takes a lot of time :(

Please tell you friends that it is not a paying job. I got scammed for 50.00 last year and is all I got for my money was a list of places that you could work at but they all said that they had no jobs opened and I know some people that have tried it and never got paid for there work, let me just say this it is a scam

I've checked out a lot of those "work-from-home" websites. I've never encountered an honest-to-goodness job that didn't require me to pay first. Otherwise I wouldn't be here in mylot.

I am also interested to have a data entry job but I can't find a legitimate one. I agree with you, there are a lot of scams out there so, we have to be careful. These scammers know people that are eager to be fooled and desperately trying to have a data entry job. One warning sign though, is when they ask for payment before you even start to work. They say, it is for processing fee and/or for manual pay. When I read something about payment like this, I just went away.

I too have been scammed by this. I work a normal 8-4 data entry job. So I though that it would be very simple to making money if all is need is to type things. But once I actually paid for it and found out exactly what it was I was very disappointed. But I did try it for a couple of weeks using up all of my evenings and ended up making nothing...I would suggest to your friends to look for something else, where the money is on the work you do, not wheather other people will buy.

So it seems that real data entry jobs do not exist. Or atleast they are rare and very hard to find. We can say that paying money for these data entry jobs will be foolishness. Better to spend time finding something which is legit and better to be paid little less or better to work harder to get more money than to spend some money from pocket to earn more and fail to get back single penny out of it...
