I find that happens when I am in the basement on the concrete floor. It also could be that your house is not insulted properly and the cold air is getting in someplace. Let me see, thicker socks might help, rubbing your legs as it could be poor circulation. I have another solution although it might cost a bit. If you just have hardwood floors, why not put a carpet over them.
But since you say it is cold outside, I would say that the house is not insulated properly, and I would check and see.
I wear socks and if it is really cold, will wear my running/walking shoes or my exercise shoes over the socks. I have very skinny ankles.

Hi TerryZ! Haha...that is funny. Sure thing, socks won't fit any nose for that matter. Anyway, when I have cold feet, I apply baby oil all over my feet and the put on my socks. This has worked for me when my feet were freezing cold at the time I experienced winter in a cold country. I just hope it can work for you. Take care and have a nice day.

I usually don't have much trouble with keeping my feet warm. I put socks on, and ten minutes later I take them off because I'm too hot. Have you tried putting your socks in the dryer for a few minutes before you put them on? You can use the microwave too, but it's safer in the dryer, LOL.

mmmm..I thought it was cold HANDS warm heart..LOL..Whatever. It HAS been chilly in my area...even my kitties are cold..our jerk landlord has his dumb rule that he doesn't turn on the heat until after October 15th...so it's been chilly in the place all day...One thing I don't do..even in the middle of winter, unless it's REALLY cold I never keep my feet covered while I'm asleep..don't ask why..My bed is a mess, haven't made it up as my kitties have been sleeping on it nearly all day and I guess my rumpled up blanket feels warm to them..they kept me company all night last night...and were keeping me nice and warm too
Mmmm...hey that would be a novel invention...A nose sock..LOL--figure out how to make one Terry, patent it, and you could be a millionaire! Uh, would like some of the profits as I'm giving you the go ahead to make/design it--LOL

I've heard that it's a common issue that belongs to NERVES , I mean when you're hands and feet get COLD and they shouldn't since your envirenement isn't that cold , and the same thing if they swet alot , I'm not sure but using OLIVE OIL would help you.

Hi terry, and I am the same as you - having cold very quickly and earlier than all others :) My home is already heated and all winter stuff is out of the closets, and I feel warmed up with thick socks too :)

i have the same question with you and my hands also cold even i wear gove.they say warm feet warm body.in winter i have woolen socks on,and my boots are thick with cutton or wool.i get my hands warm with my coat gloves.at home i wear quilted slippers.and if you feel cold, add clothes, hoho.one of the most important things is that your shoes and socks are dry.i think nose is more strong, while you feel cold you can try to use respirator.

I do not believe that,It's maybe true.when my feet is cold,I always walk a moment, about 200 meters. It will be OK.I think the best way is to keep exercising .It will be of good use to your body and your feet.At present your may be have more socks,or change your shoes.
