Check around your neighborhood...are parks or churches hosting Halloween parties or carnival? Some indoor malls do trick or treating to. Being his first time..take him to a few houses of his friends or neighbors that you know and trust.

I am taking him to a church on sunday, thanks, the malls get too crazy, but i will take him to a few houses.

If you are near a mall, check and see if they do something for kids on Halloween. I know the mall I lived by in NY did. Check your local paper, sometimes other businesses will do this too. ~Remember to give out +'s when it's deserved & select best responses. It helps us all out ;-]
