What is a soul mate and how do you know when you've found yours?

A soul mate is the one who matches exactly our thought form and habits and who fits our soul qualities. All of us have soul mates somewhere. And it's only our soul which can recognize them. I met one such person, and I don't know what happened, but I was so sure about her and I was instantly in love with her and I have been waiting for more than 5 years now that she would come back to me some day. And even she has felt the same about me. It was love at first sight. Soul mates match our soul qualities and all of us have certain soul qualities. And other souls who match our qualities as a soul, are soul mates. Most of us think, partners need to have the same likes and dislikes about food, movies and music. But it's not necessary. Partners need to have similar ways of understanding each other and loving each other. Soul mates once when they see each other, there's nothing else they feel other than love. When you see you know. That's how it is. There is an inner voice which says loud, "yes". This is the one. I've met the one. There are not only soul mates who are lovers. There can be soul mates as friends, brothers, sisters, mother and son and also father and daughter. But soul mate means ones who match your soul qualities and with whom you get along and able to understand well.
