What do you expect from your employer..do you expect them to give credit where credit is due...
even for stay at home moms, I dont think enough credit is given to stay at home moms..its not easy keeping up with everything, and taking care of your family 24/7 so what do you wish you could see out of your employer, or your family??

I wish that our employers would show more respect and appreciation for the people who actually do their job to the best of their ability especially when they go above and beyond. I think that is why people leave their jobs excluding money reasons. A lot of people just want to feel appreciated!

I have not worked in almost four years now, and I had the chance to go back to the job I was at, which I had been at for five years, but I just couldnt take the dramam anymore, and I couldnt take being used!!
I was never appreciated for the things that I did, money wise or even just telling me! I was just a peon, and doing the job of a manager, and it stunk..when I finally decided to fight back, everything started happening from rumors, to people just not talking to me anymore...

hello, TTucker. Good topic! I am still a student now, but my uncle has talked with me about this question. I think what he has said is rational, and I'd like to share it will all. He said there no more than 3 reasons you want from your job. There are the money, the potential and the pleasure. Maybe the salary is alluring, maybe what you endure is for the potential future, or you indeed interested in the job.
I think work for interest is the best. But few persons can do this I think! Maybe at first one cann't do what he or she likes , but as the days go by it may come true. I hope i can do what I like after 35.
