Frances Bay for Canada's Walk of Fame 2008
Canada

Now is the chance to be a part of something special. Frances Bay is best known for her role as Grandma Gilmore on Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler. I am her cousin and have created a petition online at: www.petitiononline.com/franny.
I am pressuring the Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto to secure Ms.Bay her own star on the walk for 2008.
Ms. Bay is a vital piece of Canadian heritage. She is originally from Dauphin Manitoba and got her first break as a radio show host on CBC radio. The show was called "Everybody's Program" that was especially for the Canadian soldiers fighting overseas during the II World War. I have letters dating back to Jan 1946 saying that Ms. Bay's voice got them through the war and kept their spirits alive.
Ms. Bay has also been in over 150 stage, television and film productions. She was Fonzie's grandmother in Happy Days and The Marble Rye lady in Seinfeld. Ms. Bay won a Gemini Award in 1997 for her work on the Road to Avonlea. She has guest starred in ER, Cheers, Matlock, Who's The Boss, Love Boat, X-Files, Murder She Wrote, Golden Girls, Alf and the list goes on.
She has been in three David Lynch movies. Frances is known as Hollywood's Grandma but I call her Hollywood's Canadian Grandma!A list of her full credits can be found on the imbd hollywood database. I hope to see your names on the petition soon. Please sign the petition and pass it along to your contacts. Ms. Bay deserves it.
Warmly,
The Friends of Frances Bay
