I like chinese food, but is it true that in china they enjoy eating snakes?

I too am a lover of Chinese food, but I have never heard anything about them eating snakes,cats, or dogs. I know people have been known to eat snakes, in some parts of the world its considered a treat.

I'm a Chinese, but I never eat such kind of things. And I'm sure, most of us do not enjoy eating these things.

I am a Chinese. I can tell you that eating snakes, dogs, cats etc. are absolutely unusual in my country. So it is impossible to say we "enjoy" eating these kinds of foods. Actually it's not easy to find such a restaurant to offer these foods. We are like most people and enjoy eating beef, port, fish and seafood.

You are definitely right. Chinese people like to eat others kind meat instead of ordinary meat. They believe that eating others kind of meat will improve their stamina and also body strength. Somehow, no every Chinese people in china will enjoy this kind of food. Only minority is eating.

some of the chinese have eat snake but i don't. people in south of china sometimes like eat anamials such as snake, ant or others, i could not bear with it and could not understand. i fell it really nausea.

As a chinese,I can tell you that there are only a few of chinese people eat these foods.To myself,I have never eat these foods.

Hi there. I watched a program on national geographic, about the different foods availiable and loved in china, and this ranged from rat to other animals, personally, I would not think twice about eating myself... But in some countries this is there delicacy and they love it...

not exactly. someone ate dogs,maybe they think it is same as eat pork and beef. sometimes snakes can treat a disease. but I can't eat them. I like dogs and cats , scare of snake.

well chinese in other parts of the country is nt actually a chinese food but jus a blunder made of their own local foods termed in the name of chinese.these fast foods r definitely harmful as they have les amt of nutients wth thm n more of flawness.its true dat chinese hv insects n snakes in d food,it seems quit to strange as hw come one eat such stuff as their food but they really do.
