Would rather have a huge wedding or a pricy honeymoon?

Couples if you had a choice what would you want, a huge wedding and short inexpensive honeymoon or a modest wedding and a expensive, dream honeymoon?I would pick a modest wedding and a dream honeymoon. In truth, I would skip the wedding and take a honeymoon.Oh, if you are already married, think of it as a second wedding or a second honeymoon.

i would prefer a modest wedding and honeymoon. i would rather my wedding not to be expensive one as long as it is solemn and my family and friends are there. honeymoon should not be expensive as well. as long as the two of us will have time together and will have fun. i would rather save the money for our future and will be able to buy our own house.

I agree! It seems spending an excessive amount of money on the wedding or honeymoon is wasteful and pretentious. I had a lovely small beach wedding (8 people) and wonderful weekend in a place we both loved..both were very private and meaningful.

That sounds wonderful. A wedding where you can remember every guest and a honeymoon that was a great memory.

I think I'd rather spend it on accessible van or buying a apartment or house, if I had a choice. However, if I must choose between the two- honeymoon.

When I married my husband my family insisted on a huge family wedding and I hated it. If I ever marry my partner I would much prefer a smaller and more relaxed hand fasting and a lovely honeymoon somewhere warm and exotic.

I had a tiny wedding and no honeymoon. lol.
But I would go for the honeymoon. I am not big on weddings and they feel somewhat pretentious to me. I think small, classy weddings are beautiful. I would rather do that then go nuts on my honeymoon.
My sister had a big wedding and had to open all her cards from her wedding that night to have enough to go on her honeymoon because she spent so much on the wedding. Kinda silly, if you ask me but some people treasure their wedding memories. I just am not the big wedding type at all.

I have a big family, so I'm going to have to go with a big wedding. Just because it's a huge wedding, doesn't mean it has to be pricey either, especially the way I want to do it.
