My favorite piece of furniture is my pappassan chair. Unfortunately, I rarely get to sit in it, because it usually ends up being the place where everything lands, so it's usually covered in books, coats, etc.
I also just got a new folding bookcase that I think is quickly becoming a favorite piece of furniture!

I love pappasson chairs - never had one. When my son had colic his pappasson swing was his favourite piece of furniture and the thing sure to quiet him - unfortunately we found in the last few weeks of his colic.
I LOVE book cases!

I spend lots of my time sitting or lying in my easy chair. I watch tv, read newspapers and books, have my afternoon nap in my easy chair. If the weather of the night is rather hot I prefer to sleep in my easy chair and try not to use the air con as far as possible.

I love a good easy chair - or better yet a sectional sofa with easy chairs built in like my sofa in Alaska.

My favorite is my bed. Although me and my sister share a double decker, it is still my favorite place wherein nobody is allowed to use without my permission. It is the part of the room that I can consider my own personal lair. My bed is probably the only witness to my tears, my happines..everything. When I was working some place else, I missed my bed terribly. My back is always looking for the feel of my bed at home.

Very descriptive - sounds like it means a lot to you - do you get the upper or lower bunk and do you have beads or curtains to close it off?

I guess since I'm always in front of the computer just about I would have to say my computer desk--it's nice and large and roomy and best I assembled it myself :)
As for what piece of furniture I would like to have..definitely a new bed! Don't ask how old it is..at least the bedframe---I'm thinking along the lines of captains bed...the kind with a storage headboard and all that drawer storage area underneath
But wait til you get a load of these beds...they're actually for children, but hey..wouldn't you just love something like these...here's a link

Wow I love websites like that - feel free to link me up anytime! I even get catalogs of stuffs like that. Your captains bed sounds like it would be practical too.

Well, my favorite furniture is supposed to be my bed as always. Because it is the one that makes me able to rest well by sleeping on it to get relaxed, without which sleep is hard to be enjoyable. hehe

I love my bed deeply as well, as well as my lover the Sandman - prince of the land of dreams. However, my relationship with both my bed and my Dreams is strained since I had a baby.

My favorite peice of furniture is my bookcase. It is 6 feel tall by 6 feet wide and it is divided into 1 foot cubes that are also a foot deep. It is huge and beautiful. It is a heavy chocolate colored wood. It fits all of my books and it displays them so well. It is by far my favorite peice of furniture.

Sounds beautiful. Well anyplace that holds books would sound beautiful. I daydream about having a house with a huge two floor library in the center!
