For me, my mother is everything for me. Why? Because i don't know my father. They already divorce since i am 5 years old. So...my mother raise me and my little brother by herself. That's why i respect her very much ^_^;;

Always my mother. For my first few years, it was just her, my twin sister, and me. Then she married my stepdad, who's still a pretty decent guy, but there's no one who knows you like your momma. Half the time, if something was wrong, it wasn't even necessary to say anything; she already knew. And she always knew what to do when you felt horrible. Either that or she faked it really well (as I'm realizing now that I'm a mommy myself). Either way, it worked!
Blessed Be

When i was child I though my dad was better to me, becuase my mm was always stric and I was thinking my mum is better to my brother.And now I still think she is just defending him and saying me how great he is and that I am jealosu, but who wouldn't be??Now after my dad had a stroke I feel like I am much more close to my mum but it is still not what I would wish to have in her.

Im a girl ( I think it matters because boys bond better with boys I think). My dad has always, to this day been better to me than my mother. My mother has been more understanding, but my dad gives me whatever I want ! I dont know if its because Im the first child or that me and him have similar personalities. But when it comes to parenting advice or help, my mom is always there for me. So maybe it works out to be 50/50 in the end. Parents love you no matter what !

My mother is better to me. My father isn't mean to me, but he has more in common with my older sister. He also doesn't know how to handle some of my health problems. This results in a lack of understanding, and sometimes miscommunication. I would like to talk things through, but he prefers to ignore such problems and just focus on something else.

Hi wseayuan! My mother and father has their own best qualities and both have their own best way to love and care for me and my two brothers. I love them both and I don't think one is better than the other. I may have different level of relationship with my father and mother because I know that I am closer to my mother because I am the only girl and we spend so much time together especially because we both love to shop. However, my father loves to spend time with me too and my brothers because we play scrabbles and video games when we were growing up. So, i don't think i could chose one from the other who is better because I need and love them both. Just my thoughts dear. Take care and have a nice day.

Well, i always consider both my mother and father equal to me. But yes, there exists a bond, a very unique bond between me and my mom and i feel a closer to her than my dad. I tell her a lot of things that i cannot tell my father. I tell her a lot of things that i can only tell my friends. And so she is very close to me.
Father is a great dad and i love him too but i am not so close to him and i am not able to figure out why i have not got close to him.

When I was young, I used to think it was my father.
When I was about 30, I found out I was wrong.
It is my mother.
As life goes by, and you get children of your own you start to see things different.
My mother loves me no matter what.
When I really have problems, she knows how to react and does not judge.
My father does not know me the way my mother does.
He loves me too, as I do him.
But my mother and me have an understanding that I could never have with anybody else.

I know both my mom and dad are unique beings. They may be good and bad in some ways. My mom understands me in my girl thing because she is a woman too, while my dad doesn't. My dad is so possessive of me in terms of love life for I know he's wiser in that thing. My mother is good in maintaining cleanliness in our house and my father is good in giving us delicious meals. And I know there a lot more differences between the two. So for me, they are equal. They both have contributed great things in my life.
