Do you entertain Durga puja?

I am an Indian. Every year We enjoy Durgapuja. Do you also? Please tell me about Durga puja of your contry.

In Karnataka it is called Dasara Festival and we keep the idol of Goddess Saraswathi and conduct pooja along with dolls exhibition. I think it is one and same throughout the country but people give different names.

THank u for responding. Actually Maa durga has 10 hands if you look at the image she comes with her two sons and two daughter. One of her daughter is saraswati. therefore Durga puja and saraswati puja are not same. here we organise saraswati puja on january or february month.

One god different names. Customs vary within a village, just imagine about the big village like India.

You can say that. Actually I want to say about main attraction of the Duga puja. In the festiv of Durga puja we meet each other's friend under a roof. All of our friend come to their home from their working place. So we can meet them and can talk about differnt topic. it is really a nice time. we enjoy it.
