Dear my friends, it is said that 8 hours are right for an adult everyday. What about you? More or less? And is there some trouble in sleep? I am a person not needing so much sleep I think, but I keep 8-hour sleep. I like follow regular time rules and I am always energic. Hardly is there something wrong with my sleep.
Here I want to share some ideas with you about how to make sure sleep well:
1 Establish a regular bedtime and rising time, and stick to them. As i mentioned above, this is the most important. A regular bedtime and rising time can help you stabilize your internal clocks. Select a bedtime that is good and natural for you.
2 Aviod phsical and mental stimulation just befor sleep. Watching an action-packed TV , planning tomorrow's schedule, and reading a chapter from a convoluted murder mystery moments are all not good for your sleep.
3 Keep the bedroom for sleeping only. It means that do not use your bedroom to eat, watch TV or chatting with others.
4 Develop sleep rituals. Sleep rituals run the gamut, from taking the garbage out to watching a certain news program, or reading a book(but not a murder mystery)
5 Determine how many hours you should be sleeping. It all depends on oneself, according to the factors such as you energy and habit.
6 Don't go to bed too early. Since your body normally lets you sleep only the number of hours it needs, if you're going to bed too early, you will likely awake too early as well.
7 Aviod naps, unless...Naps can influence your night sleep, so if you cann't sleep well at night you can try to dismiss cancel the naps
8 Take a warm bath within two hours of bedtime. Do this if it is possible.

Thank you for your suggests. You are very lucky to be a person needing less sleeping.I sleep for about 7 hours per night and 1 hour at noon and then I am very energetic in daytime.Too much?I obey a regular sleepingg and rising time ,read for a while before bedding, and always make my bed very comfortable. All of this help me have high quality of sleeping.
I am a graduate researching sleeping apnea,so I think I know more about the importance of a high quality sleeping. It is stongly suggested that you pay more attention to your sleeping.

I normally sleep for about six hours per day. I always sleep soundly without any nightmare the whole night. So I feel much refresh and energetic when I get up the following morning. I am used to have an afternoon nap about half an hour after having lunch. Naps never influence my night sleep at all lol...

I sleep for 7 hours a day, as I do not take a nap in the afternoon, I have to get into bed by 10.30 a.m. Between 6 and 6.30 a.m. I get up in the morning without any problem. I also go for walk for 3 kms Brisk walk and in the evening I do static cycling. By doing so, my dog gets tired and I get a sound sleep. I also meditate for 15 to 20 minutes.
