Which do you use more, the keyboard or the mouse?

Please don't thinke of it literally, it is more like a question about giving and receiving. As the computers are more and more popular, it is convenient for us to look for what we want from the internet. A survey shows that there are more persons who use the mouse than ones use the keyboard. It is not a difference in people's habit but what role one plays online. If you just want to get things from the internet, clicking the mouse is enough. But if you often post your own things on the internet, no doubt that you have to use the keyboard more.
I am sorry that till now I am a mouse-user. I have got much online, from downloading courseware to watching movie. But I have shared nothing with others. And I have decided to give more than before. As long as everyone can share the useful thing she or he knows, the internet will provide more convenience to others.

If I am at work, then I used to use the keyboard more frequently. Of course, even there is no mouse, you can navigate your cursor using the keyboard itself; however, that would take a lot of time and effort.
On the other hand, if I am just surfing the internet and/or researching something, then I might use the mouse frequently. In this cause, you used to navigate more often rather than typing. God speed!

It depends on what kind of work/task I am doing. But usually, I use keybord more frequently than the mouse.

I actually had a whole post written up before I read yours a second time and didn't skim the explanation part. n_n;; Not that it changed overmuch, I'm still in the middle somewhere. While I do 'use the mouse' a lot I participate in a few image boards and other forums. But yes, the ratio of contributors to people just grabbing data is pretty wide. At least there's a few folk still nice enough to pop in a ty every now and then.

I'd probably say I use the mouse more than the keyboard, as I'm more often researching stuff or reading posts or things like that. I don't think I post things on forums or anything like that enough to outweigh my mouse usage.

I use the keyboard more... because I do programmings! of course with mouse... but most of the time, I always use the keyboard more.

I never really thought about it. But now that I do, I guess I use my mouse more than my keyboard. I only use the keyboard for typing and use the mouse for everything else.

I would say that it depends on what I am doing... If doing work, I really use the keyboard more than the mouse. But when playing games, mostly I use the mouse, so I have to buy a good build mouse.. hahaha!
However, there are shortcuts that cuts your mouse use... ;) I use that too so I don't have to move my hand often. And as I am using a laptop, using the trackpad also minimizes my mouse use (if that counts!)

I like to use the mouse better. Especially for going round the pages and pointing the icons. However, since we are require to type, then I use the keyboard for typing especially for email stuff and etc.

I use both but cant figure out which is used most.If you are in Mylot then you are off with the mouse mostly.It is the mouse I use most if I am browsing as it makes thing happen faster.But then, the two are like inseparable with distintly different uses.I use the mouse on the right hand and the keyboard on the left while working.

I also the frequent mouse user. It doesn't matter you are keyboard or mouse user since they need to work together to perform more interface. So I think both tools also very important for us.
If you really can use keyboard alone, then you can speed up your PC interface but it was not so convenient as using mouse pointer

yes chym.i believe you are right.internet should serve as a place not only we can get what we actually need but also a useful and important way to communicate with each other.if we only passively receive information from internet,the new technology would be just indifferente from traditional medium like tvs and radios.the real revolutional meaning the internet take to us is that it enable people from anywhere in the planet to communicate and interchange idea freely.this powerful function will make our world a more informed and democratic place.

It'll be real hard to live with just either one, of course. We need both at the same time.
If the activity requires more typing, like blogging, posting comments like this one, writing, keyboard is certainly necessary.
If it's about browsing, seems that mouse is used more often (I'm not saying mouse is more important, it's just more convenient to use the mouse to scroll through the pages and links).
When I'm doing graphics design, I use mouse to do the image manipulation and prefer to use keyboard shortcuts to perform most-widely-used tasks.
When it comes to gaming, it depends on the type of the games we play. Sometimes, we have to use keyboard more, and sometimes the mouse.
Certainly, I can conclude that both have their own advantages and it's the best thing to combine the best of both worlds.

when i get some messase online,I use mouse much more,beacuse i need get information
from one website to another,i use mouse is convenient.but when i write something,i use keyboard of course.so i think which one you use more depend on what you do in your pc.

I guess we all realize that both keyboard and mouse are an integral part of any computing system. mouse is the best possible method of navigation till date! Its versatality is like no other. At the same time we cannot do without the keyboard. As the use of computers is slowly but surely moving towards internet from traditional office based work, we are seeing the shift! But i find forums to be a very good place to again get back in touch with our keyboard to certain extent!

Both things are important but tell you the truth, I hate keyboard. Using mouse is so easy ;p ..
