after a spirited battle early in the innings, the indians just could not finish it off today, hence handing over the cup to the australians.
but more than the series loss, i think there other things that have to be looked into.
the juniors dont seem to be playing to their potential when the seniors are around.
i really feel that india won the 20-20 world cup only because of the short version where you dont have to hold on to the intensity for a long time.
for a long time now, apart from sachin, no other batsman has been playing consistently.

Two main reasons for the loss yesterday.
1. Sreesanth - Dismal bowling, Bad economy, Missed a crucial catch .. Catches win matches ..
2. Middle Order batting - Between 33rd & 42nd overs our RPO was 3.5!! Required Run rate shot up from 7.5 to 12!! This put additional pressure on the players to come.. and Indians being poor chasers succumbed to pressure.

Sorry, but I am not really into cricket, it is not a big deal here in America. We are more into the World Series right now.

I feel very sad and very disappointed today over the loss of the series. I think india did their best to draw the series but they did make a lot of mistakes that threw them down.
Well, i hope this is a good lesson for the young players and they should understand how to tackle better players in future.

yes "shame old story" . in my view the turning point was sending in rahul dravid 2nd down when we needed much aggressive batsman . moreover dravid was under presure to wash his preceded sins by a good knock and i dont think this was a good time as the asking rate was 7 and half . total mess up decision . dhoni or uthappa or yuvi were more suitable at that time . though dravid played only 13 balls he added up the pressure and moreover gave away his wicket . in australian innings symonds was dropped very early by sreesanth which was again a fatal blunder . uthappa was dropped too but he couldnt capatalise cause asking rate was high . overall smart cricket from aussis as usual and silly mistakes from indians . i think we need to learn from aussies rather than hating them for beating us regularly , only then we could beat them . last match is just a formality but winning it could be a boost for future . lets see what happens .

i don't know abt. playing upto their potential man!!! i mean i sometimes feel that the flash of brilliance that we get to see now and then is probably just another stroke of luck for the indians! and honestly, i have started questioning my prudence in still watching the matches!!!
