do you find reading is not intersting?

Hi friend. I find reading books as an interesting habit because I know we can learn something from it. As we all know that by way of reading, we are able to get some relevant information and ideas that we could possibly use for future reference. One of my favorite books is encyclopedia. I am fond of reading this book. I find it very valuable because, as far as my concern, this provides sufficient information and details with regards to various topics and subjects. In fact, it entailed all valuable information, otherwise. Reading books is a nice habit of practicing self-improvement. This can help you solve your problem if ever you encounter some in the long run of your life. Overall, reading books is the most important thing that a person should possess. God speed!

in some way,i agree with you,you konw i do not like reading when i was young,and now i also can not be attracted to reading.through i konw,this is not a good thing,i don not konw what i can do......

Reading is an excellent way to both learn and entertain yourself at the same time.

As we know reading is a good habit, so i like to reading. When i was at school time, i will borrow from library when i was free. But now i already come out to work, then have to do the housework after back from work, so i seldom reading already. Maybe i am too tired which make me do not put so much interest on reading, but sometime i will read when i have my free time.

I am still not quite into reading habits.I find little time reading miscellaneous books.And i may fall asleep if I read any books of my subject of study.It is immensely hypnotic.I have read a few novels .And only a few books have gripped me.One of the rare ones are Da vinci code,Day of the jackal,the vector etc.It didnt take me more than two days to complete each book.As I am absorbed in textbooks, the reading interest is declining.

The problem with the books is the way of presentation. Human brain don't like to read word but human brain like to read picture, symbol, movement, interaction and more. Unfortunately, our brain don't like words. Sometime we will feel is tough to absorb and get the ideas from the books because of this reason. Human brain will feel very tired to read word. If you compare the effectiveness of reading books and watching movies, watching movies is much more easily to let the human to absorb the knowledge from the movies but books will take more time. I believe everyone also like to read. It is just the problem of the books presentation.

I love to read, I read anything that catches my attention. I believe that reading is one of the most productive habit to enjoy at, as this helps us GROW more as a person/individual. Whenever I find free-time, I always make sure that I read and make my mind active, work my imagination and be a creative-thinker.

I like reading, but I read what I am interested in :). Sometimes I get cared away and read like for hours...

I never felt reading is not interesting since my schooldays i have spent my time with the lovely books..I love reading books (except my academic books)....

I with you I really don't find reading all that interesting at all. I have a hard time putting images to words I'm reading so it really doesn't keep my attention either. God knows I have tried to read all kinds of books and even ones that I would like but still no interest in finishing one.

I have loved reading books since I was a little girl. My dad used to read to me each nite and I just got into it. It is key in killing boredom. I always have a good book going on. I don't mind waiting in doctors offices or for my girls when I have to pick them up somewhere. Some nights I read to wind down in order to fall asleep. books are great!

for me that depends on the book you are trying to read... yeah i do love reading but not too much, i am not even weird though.. lol

the only thing that i read is the bible but i need to read more of it it is god's word but other books i don't read once i start i never finish it

I never really enjoyed reading growing up. Because I was forced to read these certain books that I did not care about. Because of that I though that I do not like to read. But what I've learned is that if the topic of the book interests me I will enjoy reading it. Although I cannot say that I can read a complete book without putting it down. But I am able to enjoy reading now, more than I ever had before.

hello bulianxianren, thanks for starting such a nice discussion.its one of my favorite interest.i am very much fond of books and reading.i think from the time i started reading.you can say i am a voracious reader,be it my academics,articles,fictions,biographies even newspapers,i love reading them.they not only give me knowledge but also occupy most of my time. i don't know how i developed this liking towards reading.i think when i was small my papa gave me a book of rhymes.and within two days i memorized the whole book.that would sound weird.but yeah thats true.and its because i read the book day and night continuously.i was so much involved in it that i ended up mugging up the whole book.lol.

I always find reading is so interesting and useful. I like reading very much. I just complain I don't have enough spare time for reading. Actually sometimes I buy some books because I am interested in them, but I hardly have time to finish them at present. I hope one day I can enjoy finishing them.

Reading is always interesting as you can not only gain knowledge,but also fun,pleasure and pass your time silently without wasting much energy.I love reading humor and horror stories,and in terms of knowledge,a fact book like Guinness Book of World Record or Ripley's Believe it or not are my favourite.I invest lot of my time and money in books.The bookstore is very far from my house so I nowadays read books online.Books are fun.They are really interesting but I can't read them from morning to dawn like you as I read them for about 2-3 hours and then get bored so I go out for a walk.I prefer reading a funny or horror book rather than watching a movie.I have a huge collection of E-Books as well as 'Real' Books.My most trusted site to download books are www.gutenberg.org and www.ebookee.com (Ebookee is an e-book search engine).As I am a man of Peace and Silence,I love reading books.

Na. Reading never bored me. I was fond of reading and ill always be fond of reading because it is something that excites me. Reading is a passion for me and i want to read many books because every book has its own speciality. Some books will have great english, while some will have exciting stories. So there is always something or the other that is important in the books and i will never give up reading.

I am really fond of reading ever since I was in elementary. I do spend a lot of my time in reading books, magazines, newspapers, and anything that contains interesting topics. For me it is really worthy to spend more of my time in reading because it so interesting. It gives me additional knowledge and enhances my vocabulary as well considering that I'm not a native English speaker.
