internet is a trap?

i've noticed that internet is really full of trap and this could be really dangerous,cause i think that an inespert user like a child could fall in this trap!. so do you think the government has done much to prevent this sort of trap? there is other work to do? have you ever fallen in a dangerous trap? why?
