Well, everybody used to have a dream of what they wanted to be in their childhood days.. But how many really pursued it and I find many surrendering to the needs of the real life rather than working their way towards their dream.. And what abt you my lotters, have you achieved what you wanted to?

When I was 8, I always dreaming to be a superhero, to save the world from criminals.. just like Batman... LOL.... what a great job isn't it?
When I was 15, I would like to be a policeman...
When I was 17, I'd like to be an engineer... Now I'm not far from that job...

Hi coolkalai,
I also have ask the same question in yahoo answers before. This is an interesting question and i find out that it is hard for anyone to answer it.
Yes, you are right. Everyone full of ambition during their childhood. But after you come to the working life. You will feel the world is different from what you think last time. You are moving from imaginary world to real world. The real world is really really cruel to us. Smart people is not a rich people but stupid people can be rich easily. Hardworking people doesn't mean can get a great reward but a lazy people can get a great reward. What is this world? I also don't know.
Every human has a great self ego and self confidence. It is every tough for human to work each others to perform a task since everyone also have their own perception. It is tough to find the matching ideas between few people. Human is so unpredictable and you can not predict what you need to do next.
Because of the self ego of human, the world tend to have variety of language, products, culture, living style and more and more. Why can't we consolidate everything to be unity. I really hate to see too much of options and variety. It is really confuse all of us. The most suffer is the human. Human make something to suffer themselves.
Actually I also has think of what you think before. You will find out that i write is no related to your question. Take your time and read carefully. You will know what should you do:).

Well Cywong, a nice response.. When we start thinking on what we are into and whether we really love what we are doing,, then most of us have to end up in confusion and hatred.. whether we like it or not, I found that we've to accept what life is offering and the most successful ones are those, who make the best out of it. many succumb themselves to the evil needs of life and end up no where.. So we may not have become what we are, but still, we can make the most out of it and when we grow too old and just await to end our journey, we may not have regrets..Ok,, so let's live the moment...

My answer is 'not', COOLKALAI. Far out from my wish and satisfactions. But as life must carry on that way, so I just keep going with my current job and in the mean time I am working out to be a businessman someday. A successful businessman with good life value. May God Bless on me.
