OUTRAGEOUS LIE: a white lie?

I used to work before in a broadcasting company where I dont only take the responsibility of delivering news but I do "sales" as well. One time, our manager were pushing us to our limit that we need to make sales for that certain month and reach the qouta or the radio station will be closed (I know it sounds awful!). SO what I did is lie to our clients. WE were given qoutations for the advertisement fees. What I did? I did make my own. For example the original 30 seconder advertisement is $50/spot, ill make it $100/spot with a note at the bottom: WE ARE ON A 50% off on our ad fee! Get it for only $50. In that way, it doesnt change the fee, it even attracts clients. In a month time, we go beyond out quouta, I was the top salesperson, and the radio station was saved. HOw about you? What was the most outrageous lie you ever told?
