I like to write a lot. I like to put down things on a paper. I like to keep things that have happen. I like to read later on what I have done. I like to remember. I like to tell my kids about things I did when I was young. Do you write a diary? why or why not?

Hi and thank you for responding.
That is a god way to write your diary. To use a language to. That is a god thing. However, my diary are suppose to help my children the day I have to move to a home for older people. So use a foreign language is not god for me. I hope they can use it and help the people who will take care of me at old age to know a little bit about what I like to do, like to eat, and how I want to have things done.
Have a nice day

Hi and thank you for your respond.
Yes, a diary are a god thing to have. Ma bee you will forget things about your life, the little things that in the moment may not be a such big deal. But can be later on. It´s god to have to pick out in older days.
Have a nice day

Hi and thank you for responding.
I can understand that as a teen it is more important to write down things happening in life. However, I do work with older people at home and what strike me when we ask their children about what they like, have done, like to do etc they do not know much about their parents. It is hard to write sown a life for children the day their parents can not live at home anymore and need more help. As a carer for them it would help in my job to give them a god and healthy life in their end.

I do sometimes. But I tend to write poetry rather than keeping a day-to-day account of what happens in my life.

hello, anetteh. I like the same as you like. I have written my diary since I was in my primary school. At first it was the task assigned by the teacher, and it meaned that I had to hand in it to my teacher. So it is not real diary but my homework. As i grow, I feel like this. I am a girl who prefer to writting than speaking to express my feeling, and so I resort to the diary. Whether the glad or the sorry , I write them down. And the same as you, I like to remember and look back what I experienced. When I am old, the diary is the priceless wealth for me.

I do work at homes for older people. What have strike me most are the lack of information the children do not have for us in order to give the old people a meaningful life in their end of life. I feel it is good to write down things that the carer can use in order to give a god health care in my end of life.
Thank you for responding and have a nice day

I kept a diary when I was younger, along with all the notes I received from friends when I was in my early years of high school.
I tend to journal on and off now, and also blog, but again off and on. At the moment I'm trying to be more consistent because I've set up a blog for my friends and family to read about my experiences while I'm in China.

Hi and thank you for responding, That is god, even if you are long way from home you can write down and let family know whats going on. Keep them less worried. I like that.
My thoughts about writing down things about me and my life is for older days the time my children have to help me moving to homes for older people. As carer working at a home like that I know what I need to know to be able to give them a god healthy life in their end of it.

Years ago when I was a teenager I kept a diary. My Uncle stayed with us and while snooping around found it. All of my most personal, intimate thoughts were strewn throughout our home (in front of my brothers) and talked about with family for a long time after that. Since then I rarely put anything on paper that I don't want everyone to know about. I figure the safest place for my deep dark secrets is right in my own head.
