Hi!All
Many kids like playing computer games, but some computer games are bad for kid's health. I think more good games should be developed and at the same time, games bad for kid's health should be banned. Because kids are growing up and they shouldn't be addicted to some bad games for their health.

hmmm.. if its health you're concerned of, theres really no game thats bad for health. games only become bad for the health when kids (,or adults) become too addicted to the game and forget about their health, when they forget to eat and rest.
attitude and character are different stories. now those are highly affected by such games.

totally agree with you. i think there is no good or bad games. the better the game it is, the more children become addicted, then it become a bad game for children. to some extent, any game which can attract children is bad to their health. there are only bad children who can not control themselves.

well, yeah. parents should be able to be responsible enough and take control of the situation. if the child is becoming addicted, parents should do something, most especially if its not good for their kids.

Computer games are not bad for a child's health. Spending too much time in front of a computer screen is bad for one's health, just as watching too much TV can be. I don't believe in the concept of a good/bad game in terms of a person's health. The reason games seem to be bad for a child's health is because the child probably just spends too much time playing it. The same problems show up in adults who play video games all day. The same problems show up in couch potatoes who watch TV all day. It is not the computer games' fault that the child does not do anything but play said computer game. That problem is most likely the parents' fault. If they think the child is playing the game too much and their health is suffering because of it, then they can just limit how long the child can play the game. Problem solved.
On another note, why do you want to ban computer games deemed to be "bad" for a child's health? The computer gaming industry is not specifically designed to cater to only children. Many games out there are designed with adults in mind. It is the adults job to make sure the child does not have access to these types of games. Also, how could you determine what games are "bad" for a child's health? That type of decision is too opinionated to become useful on a large scale.
And addiction can happen with anything. One could be addicted to games, money, food, attention, etc. I would be more concerned about the growing addiction to junk food that children have more so than computer games.

Hi!
I agree with you about that addiction is one of the problems. If some games have some violences or something like that, maybe they will copy the bad behaviors. Something must be done for this kind of games. I suugest that some good games mean useful for study and intelligence. And the good games should have a time limit. For a child, he can play games for somet time. Of course, parents are very important to help kids to develop a good habit.
