Well I normally stick to certain authors because that way I know I will like the book and won't get bored reading it. Normally I can read a 400 page book in about 3 to 4 days. I am a stay at home mom so I do have time to read, but I try to wait until my cleaning and kids are taken care of. If I didn't have all that to do I could easily read a book in a day. In fact I have done it once or twice. But reading a book in 2 to 3 hours I don't think would be possible for me not unless it was a book with less than 200 pages. Then maybe it would be possible.

It really depends on a few factors; how much I'm enjoying the book, what's going on around me, my mood, etc. I think the fastest so far that I have finished a book is less than 2 days, and I believe the book was over 400 pages. Sometimes it takes me longer to read a book because my life will be busy at the time.

It depends on how thick the book is or the genre the book is for. I mean if its a book written by Umberto Echo, it takes me about 3 days to read it but I usually take about 2-3 hours to finish a book. But if I really like a book, I tend to immerse on each chapter/page so I kinda linger on the story before I finish the book which takes me about 3 days.

If it's a book I am really into, I will finish it in a day. I've only done that a few times though. Dragging my feet at work the next day is not fun.

oh i haven't read a pocketbook for a long time.
now, i read those inspirational books for women to help me in my faith. they strengthen my walk with the Lord.
usually, it takes me a month or so to finish them because i use them as devotional materials--only a chapter a day.
i've finished my bible--only after 4 years! really bad. i'm starting to read it again, chapter by chapter.

I'm not very fast for read book because I like to read with a lot of attention for look better the style of a writer, so generally I read a small book in about two weeks. If the book is very easy I read it in one week, but never less than a week.

I can read two to four books a week. I love to read. I read between commercials while watching t.v., in the bathroom, just sitting around on the couch, I will read for hours. If I am at a waiting room for doctor or dentist I take my book with me. I just love reading, so yes, I can finish many books within a weeks time.

It depends on how much I like the book and how much time I have. I've finished a number of books in a single day or just a matter of hours. There was a period for about a week where I didn't have a phone line or internet access and I managed to go through about 11 books in a week. That included rereading the 6th Harry Potter book and several paperbacks that I'd never read before. Some of the paperbacks were so good I'd start them in the morning and be on the next one by mid-late afternoon. If I'm not enjoying it as much or don't have as much time, it'll take longer. But I probably average 1-2 days per book.

it depends on the thickness of the book... a harry potter book5 type would take me around half a week. it can be shorter but i'd like to reach each line the character or the author said and understand it.

it really depends on the length of the time, the amount of free time on my hands, plus my amount of interest in the book. some books just tend to drag on and on, while others are quick reads

i dont care how fast i finish the book... its not a race against time for me... it is all about enjoying the book, and naturally if the book is good then i will probably finish it sooner but that also depends upon the length of the book.
the boring books i dont really care... most of them just lie there unread. i dont waste time trying to continue to read something which is to my dislike.
