Yum yum...i usually go with mashed potatoes especially when it has been mixed with a li'l butter and a pinch of salt...hmmm....yummy. Sometimes mashed potatoes can be good with corn mixed on it. This is the case when I have it as a side dish with fish, steak or sausage. I like french fries with a burger. Man, I like potatoes!:)

I see you're into the PO-TAH-TO too...Spuds, could it be you're talking about the potato chips snack, that you probably love to munch? Well, I researched why the potato is called "spud". Spud comes from the digging of soil or hole prior to planting the potato. Spud is used as a term for a short knife or dagger before. Then, it was known to be used a term for a variety of digging tools and later on in 1845 the term was used to refer to the PO-TAH-TO itself!:D

like you, i like most sidings too, whether they are sauteed in butter or served fresh, like the Japanese do. i love those thinly shredded cabbage, etc. what i don't like though is the pickled pink ginger. yuckk! sorry, i can't stand it. it bites. hehehe
i like the potato stuff too--mashed, french fries, or as hash browns. :-) oooohhh, oily!

I like french fries dip in mixture of chilly sauce and tomato sauce. When taking fast food at pizza hut I prefer to take french fries. I also like mixed salad dip in thousand island. I take only self prepared mash potato as it would suit my taste well.

I prefer potatoes or rice as side dishes. I dont really like very many vegetables. I always make them for the rest of my family though.

Hello shiloh_222, I like most side dishes too when I am eating a meal on restaurants. When I am in a fastfood eating hamburger I like having french fries with it and mash potatoes with fried chicken. I like corn and carrots too with grilled chicken or porchops. ", )

hi... yup, i agree, nothing like eating a meal with great side dishes to complement it... im crazy over green oriental salad with mandarin oranges... do you like fresh vegetable salads to go along with your sandwiches, burgers? thanks for responding....
