I went shopping this morning and I noticed a Christmas department so I started to look at the Christmas cards. I know Christmas is still two months away, but it usually takes me awhile to find Christmas cards that I really like. So I was wondering do you send out Christmas cards, if so do you usually send out the same type? Do you remember the cards you sent out last year, what did they look like?

Hi Ourdew, I have bought so many several years ago that i still have plenty for about 10 Christmasses to come ;) Strange but I only send real cards to family and my far away friends, not more than 10 or so, and to all the others I sent them e-cards TheFortunes

Hi Ourdew, LOL, hmm, actually I bought it from a friend who is printing hundreds of types of cards and is selling these to all kind of shops. They were very nice for the price I was able to get them, like 75% off the price I would have paid in a shop. No wonder I did it than, even though it could become borring to teh receivers in a few years... :) TheFortunes

I bought some Christmas cards yesterday but I also buy Yule cards too. The cards I generally buy are the *funny* type rather than serious or glitter pictures.

I love how the glitter makes a snow scene look really neat! Glitter I think is a nice cheap way to add a special effect hehe! Funny ones are also good too!

Nowadays I already don't send Christmas cards. I send E-cards because it is fast and convenient. And at least I can save some trees and do something good for our planet. To me, sending Christmas cards is not necessary, but I must send E-cards.

I love sending out Christmas cards. I send out over 100 each year. I just started using this site that sends out the cards for you. You pick a card from over 2500 cards. Type in your own message. Add your own picture, and even upload your signature. Then the site creates it, stuffs it, and mails it for you. So much fun. If you want the link to the site send me a PM and I'll get it for you. Hi, yes I am sending post cards.i think it is just different and nicer to sent post cards liek just only text message or a e-mail.Post cards are much more personal and I think they show , that you care about person.I still have a lot of them from last year, so i don't know if I am gona buy any this year. And actually they were nice.Kinda like for kids, but I like it, when there is Santa and the person who recieve the card would smile. But maybe if I would see some nicer I might buy new ones too.I have a huge list.Did you ever think about making Christmas card by yourself??I did, butstill didn't do it.Maybe it would be nice, what you think?

It sounds like a good idea to make the cards myself, but I will probably buy them. I love sending and getting the cards in the mail.:)

Sometimes I send out Christmas cards. I don't do it every year. I like to pick out certain cards too. I tend to go with something on the humorous side. I don't remember exactly what I sent last year, but it seems like they were just basically nice cards with a nice message inside.

I used to send out a lot of Christmas cards and usually got a package that were all the same card. Now days I send very few cards so usually select individual cards for each person. I also seem to be 'hand delivering' the majority of those cards.

I took old cards from various people, took the fronts off them, glued them to cardstock & used those for sending out. I even gave some to both my roomie & my client to use too. In fact, the very religious ones went to my client, the silly or animal ones to my roomie. I keep the rest.

I have a christmas tin that I keep a list in. I write down who I aent to and received from. I also keep an example card and look at it before buying for the new year. Well I already bought this years at beginning of the year during the sales. Now if I could just remember where I put them. Last years card had little christmasy mice on them and a message about the magic of christmas.

Hi there. Previous years I was sending christmas cards to family members and friends in other countries/ places. I still have with me some cards that I bought years ago and plan to send it this year, coz sometimes I can't find cards which I dont really like ( print or the message in it). Its great sending and receiving christmas cards coz you can actually hold and see the picture and words written on it. However, due to the onset of internet and emails, most people just send christmas greetings thru cards on the net.

I seldom send out Christmas cards, of these i seldom send the same kind. The cards that i send out every year varies and i must say i am dependent on what the bookstores have on their shelves. I do not bother remembering the cards i sent out the year before so if someone out there is a Christmas card collector there is a possibility that the cards a could have sent can be the same...but imagine the odds. Then again i am not Christmas card collector so i would'nt know. Still, the thought matters and what is written inside the card.

Christmas cards allways are something very special for me. Especially the singing ones. My message there is allways individual to each person. I cant remember right now what were my messages for the previous year...

Hi OURDEW, We usually buy Christmas cards with either cute animals or Santa on them. Last year the cards we gave out had cute little cats on them that were in stockings (hubby's choice), this year I get to pick (we take turns each year) so it will either be a cute animal or Santa! One year I found a pack of really pretty ones, they had snowfalkes on them and they were glittery! I like glitter lol! Love & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear!
