Do you hurt more when it rains?

I find I can pretty much forecast the weather relying on the amount of pain I'm in on a given day. I know if rains coming. When my knees start aching I know it's coming. I've torn up the ligaments pretty bad in both knees and have had a few surgeries, also broken my spine in a few places, and I have arthritis. I think it's the arthritis that makes me ache. But I can sure tell when it's going to rain.

I sure can tell when it's going to rain...or even when it starts getting chilly outside. My bones ache.
I have a deteriorating disc in my neck and that's usually where the pain occurs.....I'm sure there's some arthritis running around also.
Boy, I hate getting old, haha....and doing it gracefully?,..yeh right.

I hear ya. I have a herniated disk in my neck and compressed disks in my spine from 3 fractured vertabrae so I know what you mean, my knees are so bad though that I notice it the most there my back and neck hurt no matter the weather.

You know what Seahorse, I feel very lucky in comparison to you, and I'm very sorry about all your pain. It really must hurt. I think I'll stop whining now about my minor problems, lol!
Does Ibuprofen help at all?

No Ibuprofen does not help. when I can afford it I go to the the doctor and get some hydrocodene it helps some, muscle relaxers help also. Whe I don't have pain meds i eat Naprosyn , use ben gay and take a lot of hot baths with epsom salt.

My Mom always told me I was BORN contrary!LOL! I hurt the most on days over 80 degrees! I dread the summer, and spend it sitting in front of a big fan. I don't have arthritis... I'm clean as a whistle there. But I have adhesions even my doctors can't believe! When its hot, I swell up... don't know why... and when I do those adhesions pull and I can barely move. Even the ones that have broken loose have reattached in the wrong place AGAIN! The University here was running research to correct adhesions... even they couldn't believe this, and refused me entry in the program. So cold, rainy weather is my best friend!
