what good does the + and - buttons do?

As mylot has stated their payment system is a very complex thing and I don't think any of us really know how it all works the one thing we do know is they do pay which is good, I guess all we really need to know is + is good and - is not so good....welcome to Mylot...

The plus and minus buttons are for rating a person's discussion, reply, or comment. Those ratings are used in determining the numbered star that you see next to people's names. You receive a star once you have 100 posts and it'll be based on any ratings you've received up until the point and will change as you receive new ratings. You can read more about all this in MyLot's frequently asked questions section.

Hello stevoo. The + and - are how we members of myLot rate discussions and responses. When you hit 100 you will get a star and depending on how those that respond to you your star will have a rating in it. if you will hoover your curser ove osome of the stars of the members you can see their rating. You use ! to report any abuse shuch as coping a discussion word for word or abusive language ar abusing another menber. Hope this helps.

It's how you rate a discussion or response. The plus is good obviously and the minus isn't good. The ! is if someone is doing something that they shouldn't be doing. I try to rate everyone that leaves a response on my discussions.

The positive (+) and negative(-) buttons here is used in ranking other user. If you reach the post of 100... you will have your star there. The highest is the blue star which is 10. It is how your fellow mylot user rank you with your response. the higher the + rate, the higher your star will be. the highest is 10. So keep on giving quality response.
