My older children were never really attached to anything in particular and the baby doesn't hsve one yet either. My 2 1/2 year old though has an unusual "lovey". He is very strongly attached to an old flannel shirt! He drags it everywhere just like it was a blanket. When he is sleeping he tucks it under his chin. When he is sick he rubs it on his ears or throat or whatever is hurting him.

My 4 1/2 year old daughter has a blankie thats a pale yellow and its 2 feet by 2feet big with a teddy bears head in the middle of the blanket. She folds the ends together and hugs the head. She like to fall asleep with it,but thats about all,she only wants it at bedtime. She has a musical fish tank that plays lullabys to help her off to sleepy time.:)

My daughter is not attached to anything in particular unlike her cousin (my niece) who cannot sleep without her pillow... it is quite worn out and is sometimes very very dirty (it goes in the washing machine only once a month)... but she loves it like a little baby... but now that she has a cousing (my daughter) the two of them play with the pillow...
