Year end is approaching and I can smell the school holiday in a distant. So what is your plan for your school going children? Do you take a vacation with them or send them for some courses to fill up their holiday cause you could not afford to take time off from work?. Or, if you have the budget, you let your children choose the destination they wish to go?. Share with us your choice, its a headache to think on this solution.

the school hols is not really that distant, noyida... in fact it's very near...
my primary school children (2 of them) have already completed their final (year-end)exams - so.. not much studying left until the hols really starts.
to be honest - i dont plan to go anywhere... it's too costly !!.. (getting time-off from work is not really much hassle for me).
most of the time.. we just take them to the nearby waterpark, or... take them to a movie... go to the library and borrow books...
and the rest of the holidays... they just sit at home watching tv, play their playstation.
* and if i'm in my 'cruel mood' - i'll buy them workbooks and tell them to do the exercises - just so that they dont forget to do some studying... ;-)

Hello noyida,
I don't have any school going children but right now, I am still thinking where to go and how to spend my one week year-end holiday. I have not make any reservation yet and I believe all the local tourist spots and hotels will be packed with local/foreign tourists. I have been thinking to travel to the east coast but yet to discuss with my husband. He just came back from his home country and I am not too sure whether he wants another 'honeymoon' with a baby in tow this time *laughs*
