Is the Greatest Story Ever Told Repeating Itself in the 21st Century?

Considering events all over the world, I am beginning to believe that the Old Testament is beginning to show itself again in a futuristic twist of the 21st Century. There are wars, battles and the like in the name of God. There is terrible diseases striking people of all ages around the globe. There are terrible fires that burn for months in areas that we would not consider fire zones. Tsunamis and terrible storms are striking almost without warning as well all around the globe. We almost seem helpless to stop such atrocities and natural disasters. But are they natural or are we looking at a time for the return of Lord and Messiah, Jesus Christ? I think we are looking soon to His return and our final destiny is going to be upon us soon. Maybe not in our lifetime, but possibly in our children's lifetime. Come and join my discussion and let me know what you think.

Ecclesiastes says "There's nothing new". Worse happened during the Old Testament times. Nobody knows when the last day comes. It is in the Bible that we would not know when the Lord is coming and we are told to be prepared always. It's our preparation that is important. Whatever happens if we are ready, we would not fear and let the will of the Lord be done.

They are both. God works in the natural world. We sometimes look for something that looks like a miracle, but what happens is a "normal" outcome of our "normal" world. That's why so many miss God. They just don't see that He is in control of it all.

Definitely! I believe that with everything that I am that everything the Bible says is happening just as it said it would.
