In my opinion it is still too early to tell whether Arsenal can mount a serious challenge in both the Premier League and Champions League due to a few reasons. First of all, the young team haven't been tested so far, in the past games the strongest challenge came from Blackburn who managed to held them to a 1-1 draw. Therefore it is good to see how Arsenal fare against Liverpool and Manchester United in their next two games. Another thing that could halt their performance is an injury crisis. I couldn't imagine how the team will play if their creative midfielder Fabregas get injured say for 1-2 months. Who will take control of the midfield then? What happened when Arsenal begin to face stronger opposition in the next round of Champions League? Teams like Real Madrid or any of the Italian teams.

My club is doing well and am a happy fan, but we can never forget the contributions of Henry.

oops ive forgotten to comment on Henry. well he was just a good striker that arsenal has ever had.But not one that is too costly to have lost.He was commendable. But his departure is not definitely going to affect the results as Wenger is in full throttle. See if Chelsea lost top scorer Drogba, the game can be kept in grip if jose's there. But chelsea has lost the manager and then even Drogba can find it hard to net the ball. Football is all a tactical game and talent for executing this.

What on earth could stop them im wondering? They are on fire. The young squad is on top form. But they need a better keeper.Their attack, mid and defensive players are top class. Van persie, adebayor,Fabregas,Toure, senderos are the trend setters.Sure they are the title contenders and the first in line.Im not sure if they can recreate this magic in champions league.

Personally, i think henry should have left a few seasons ago we was relying too much on him and passing to him when we shouldnt have because he didnt have the space to really do anything with the ball now he has gone we use a different approach in front of goal, shoot from long range and even cross the ball more now. So my answer to your question is if we got to the final with Henry then we definately can without, Henry is a great player but in big games he very rarely got into the games which effected us quite bad. As for the premiership we need to do well against the better teams like manchester utd and liverpool or chelsea and make sure we dont drop points against the weaker teams like last season and i dont see why we cant win the premier league.
